About this event

We hope you will join us for our First Monday Newcomer-Friendly North Happy Hour at our new location, The Bon Aire sports bar in the Crosswoods Shopping Center on Research Blvd.

We will be located at the back, on the right side of the bar, with high-top tables and plenty of room for mingling. Bon Aire has a full bar with a large variety of beers on tap and specialty cocktails. The menu offers a selection of reasonably priced options, including burgers, brats, kababs, wings and toasted ravioli.

You don't HAVE to be a newcomer to attend this event, but if you ARE a "newbie," and live north of the river, this happy hour was created with YOU in mind! It is a great way to become acquainted with some of our established members and get a feel for whether this group is a good fit for you. It’s also a great way to meet other newcomers who are joining us at the same time.

On the other hand, if you are a member, you are encouraged to attend and welcome our newcomers, even if you haven't participated for a while. This is the perfect event to catch up with friends old and make some new. You will find this to be a welcoming, friendly gathering where you can mingle and make connections with other like-minded people "of a certain age!"

Since Monday is a slow day, they won't have any wait staff working, so we will have to order for ourselves at the bar, but we've all done that before, right?

Plenty of free parking, front and back. We hope to see you there!
