About this event

Ready for a fresh start? Join Beth Ami for an inclusive Humanistic Rosh Hashanah celebration that blends tradition with a modern cultural spirit. We’re gathering to welcome the Jewish New Year through the soulful call of the shofar, a mix of classic and contemporary songs, and meaningful readings.

After the service, stay for a delicious catered buffet. Whether you’re a long-time member or it’s your first time joining us, there’s a seat for you at the table.

  • When: RSVPs needed by Sept. 7th so we can prep your place!
  • The Food: We’re providing the challah, juice, apples and honey, and the dinner spread.
  • Giving Back: We’re collecting non-perishable food and toiletries for Community Food Share. Please bring a donation if you can.
  • Cost: Suggested donation (payable at the door by cash or local check)
  • Beth Ami paid members: FREE
  • Guest Adult: $40
  • Guest Student: $20 (or pay what you can)
  • Children under 13: FREE
  • Additional donations are always accepted!!

Let us know if you're bringing children, and their ages! Click the attend button before Sept 7th so we know to expect you on Sept 12th.

Note: We always appreciate help cleaning up after the event.

Beth Ami, the only Humanistic Jewish congregation in Colorado, is a proud affiliate of the Society for Humanistic Judaism. We celebrate Jewish holidays, learning and life cycle events through the secular lens of history, culture, and reason. We believe in the human capacity to create a better world without supernatural intervention.

Beth Ami is a welcoming community where we connect to Jewish past, celebrate Jewish present and link to Jewish future through a humanistic philosophy. We encourage anyone interested in learning about Humanistic Judaism to attend this and all our events.

Let's do Jewish together - Humanistically!
