🌴 A Date with Arizona: Brunch & the Sphinx Date Experience

Join us for a fun Arizona-themed outing as we enjoy a delicious brunch followed by a visit to one of the Valley's sweetest hidden gems!

We'll begin at 11:00 a.m. with brunch at The Eleanor, a beautiful, stylish restaurant known for its inviting atmosphere, creative menu, and delicious brunch favorites. It's the perfect place to relax, catch up with friends, and enjoy a leisurely meal before our afternoon adventure. Brunch is paid individually at the restaurant.

After brunch, we'll head to Sphinx Date Company & Palm Pantry, an iconic Arizona destination with a rich history dating back to the early days of date farming in the Valley. We'll enjoy a presentation about the history of the company and Arizona's date industry, a delicious date sample, and treat ourselves to one of their famous date shakes. Date Shake: $4 (prepaid)

You'll also have time to browse the Palm Pantry for dates, candies, spices, grains, drinks, jams, oils, gifts, and other locally made treats.

If you decide you don't want a date shake after all, simply let me know the morning of the event, and I'll refund your $4 at the event along with your $10 registration fee.

Come hungry, learn a little Arizona history, enjoy great company, and discover why Sphinx Date Company has been an Arizona favorite for generations!

The usual procedures apply:

1. MARK ATTENDING if you are ready to send your non-refundable registration payment.

2. Send $14 to Karen by zelle to 305-932-3369 unless you bank with Wells Fargo, then send by email to karen224@aol.com, or send by Venmo to @karen-weiner-1.

This money is returnable to you at the event with your name tag.

If there is a good reason for your delay in paying, including sending a check, send me a note in the comments or a private message.

3. If you are on the waitlist, do not send any money until you clear. It is your responsibility to make sure your notifications are on and to check your emails when you know you are waitlisted. Payment should be made within 6 hours of clearing the wait list, or you will be moved back to the bottom of the waitlist or to not going. Reminders to pay will not be sent.

4. PLEASE KEEP YOUR RESPONSES UPDATED, INCLUDING THE WAITLIST. Remove yourselves when you can no longer attend.
