Welcome to the Nerd Herd Quiet Reading Club!

This club is a laidback way to get some recreational reading done in the middle of a busy week, meet fellow readers, and support local businesses.

Unlike traditional book clubs, there’s no assigned reading. Bring whatever book you want to read at the meeting. This can be a physical book, e-reader, or even a graphic novel or comic.

Here’s a rough schedule for the event. 6:30-7:00 – Check in, order food and drink, share what you’ve been reading 7:00-7:30-Silent reading time 7:30-whenever-Optional chat about what you’ve read, read more, or leave if you need to.

The location for this meeting will be one of my favorite dive bars in Nashville, Rosie’s Twin Kegs.

• PARKING: There is a lot by the bar and some street parking. Some nearby businesses tow so confirm with them before parking there. The next door restaurant Gojo now charges for parking so I’ve been parking in the big lot between Valvoline and an ATM.
• FOOD: Rosie’s has great bar food like burgers, wings, and the best tater tots in towns. Also, one sneaky good dessert option.
• NON—ALCOHOLIC OPTIONS: NA beer, THC drinks, soda.
