Join us for a morning of educational, hands-on volunteering at Jack’s Solar Garden, the largest commercial agrivoltaics research site in the U.S. No experience needed.

What the Morning Will Look like

• Get your hands dirty. Seed, weed, and mulch the crops growing under the solar panels.
• Learn about agrivoltaics. See firsthand how shade from the solar panels helps the crops.
• Tools provided. Just bring water, closed-toe shoes, and clothes you wouldn’t mind getting dirty.

FAQ Who can attend this event? CWS is primarily intended for women of color (Black, Indigenous, Asian, and Latina women), though allies who support this community are also welcome.

What should I bring? Bring water, closed-toe shoes, and clothes you wouldn’t mind getting dirty.

Is there a waiver that I need to sign? Yes! We will send this out via email for you to fill out closer to the day of the event.
