Saturday night in August @ Ixora

Dancing Your Depths is an imaginative relational movement practice, where each class is a thoughtfully guided journey of music, imagery, somatic exploration, and movement conversations.

From the playful to the profound, this is an experimental space to explore the full spectrum of your movement—the wild, the weird, the expansive, and the subtle.

Connect with yourself, with others, and with the embodied intelligence that emerges when we share a dance floor with creativity and curiosity. There’s time to both dive deep into your own inner landscape and immerse in the quiet choreography unfolding between us—moving alongside one another, witnessing, responding, and discovering how our individual dances can become part of something larger.

There are no steps or counts to learn, but the practice is scaffolded by a loose framework that serves as a container for our explorations.

Location: Ixora Wellness Collective 4749A N. Academy Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80918 (lower courtyard)

Cost: A single class at Ixora costs $22. They offer discounts through an introduction offer ($44 for two weeks of unlimited classes), class packs, and monthly memberships. Registration takes place through Ixora’s website or iOS app, where you will pay and sign the waiver electronically. Pre-registration is highly recommended here, and if you drop in, you will still need to create an account in person either on your phone or via the studio iPad.

Navigation and parking: Turn into Flintridge Plaza from either N. Academy or Flintridge Drive and park near the courtyard section of the plaza—you'll see a break in the buildings, and there's a squarish 90s-era blocky tower in the vicinity. Plenty of lot parking! Descend into the lower courtyard via the ramp or steps. The studio entrance is in the far back on the right. (Despite what some GPS apps tell you, the entrance is NOT on El Camino Drive.)

Accessibility: Ixora is accessible via a ramp from the parking lot into the courtyard.

Important: This offering is open to adults and mature movers ages 12 and older who are eager to fully participate. Please plan to arrive ~5 minutes early to check in and get settled. For safety reasons, doors may be locked after start time.
