Meet at 8:15am at the Bobcat Ridge Natural Area Parking lot. We'll start the hike at 8:30am. Sorry, NO Dogs allowed. :(

This family-friendly (but not dog-friendly) foothills trail is popular for hiking and mountain biking and has great views of the red rock formation of the Devil's Backbone. You'll find a grassy valley, foothills, ponderosa pines, and views of the red rock cliffs. Bobcat Ridge is home to elk, wild turkey, mountain lions and other wildlife. Many historic homestead sites dot the landscape, including the historic cabin of D.R. And Ginny Pulliam, who created many local trails in the area and donated land to the county to be developed for public use.

Trails shared with bikes and horses. No shade on the trails, so dress accordingly and please bring water and sunscreen.

There is a Block Party happening in Loveland on 4th Street afterwards that we have as a separate event, and we encourage you to head there after the hike!

--- Come join us as we get out and enjoy the fresh air and good conversation on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month. We will be exploring different open spaces throughout the Fort Collins, Loveland, Windsor and Timnath areas.
