We’ll kick off the evening with dinner and drinks at Panama 66, then head into the Copley Auditorium for the Wednesday Jam Session led by acclaimed San Diego trumpeter Gilbert Castellanos.

🎺 ABOUT THE MUSIC Gilbert Castellanos is one of San Diego’s most respected jazz musicians, known for his soulful trumpet sound, swinging style, and passion for keeping the local jazz scene thriving.

These popular Wednesday Jam Session brings together talented up-and-coming musicians—the “Young Lions”—with seasoned professionals. Every week is different, spontaneous, and full of energy! 🎶🔥

🍷 DINNER & DRINKS- Panama 66 • Meet at 4 PM • Food service: 4:00–9:00 PM • Separate Checks - Order at counter • Bar open until 10:00 PM • Food and drinks are permitted inside the auditorium

After dinner, we’ll head into the Copley Auditorium early so we can find seats together.
