Autumn Equinox and Mabon Ritual and Potluck with Red Orchard Sept. 19th, 5:00 PM

Mabon is the Pagan term for the Autumn Equinox that occurs annually between September 21st and 23rd. It’s the first official day of Fall, also known as the Witches’ Thanksgiving. Mabon is the second of three harvest festivals. Mabon is our last farewell to the long days of Summer, and the beginning of the dark half of the year. After the Autumn Equinox, the days will start to fall shorter than the nights. It is a time for great feasting and a celebration of the abundance of the earth. Come celebrate with us at our annual Mabon ritual and Potluck feast. Red Orchard is a longtime member of the local Pagan Community and runs a great ritual! Please bring a dish for the Potluck! Door opens at 7pm, come to socialize before we start the meeting at 7:30. Love offerings accepted, we provide coffee and tea. We always have a basket to collect non perishable food for @https://www.lifenet4families.org/ . You are welcome to donate. We also collect small used blankets, towels and new dog toys for the strays at Broward County Animal care.
