Duke Opera Theater: The Faculty Join the Party

From Carmen to West Side Story, Duke Opera Theater is bringing students and faculty together for an evening filled with drama, comedy, romance, and unforgettable music.

In The Faculty Join the Party, Duke Opera Theater performers share the stage with Duke Music faculty members Ted Federle, Andrea Edith Moore, Elizabeth Linnartz, and Clara Rottsolk for a lively program celebrating the excitement of ensemble singing and theatrical storytelling.

Featuring scenes and ensembles from Carmen, Die Fledermaus, Don Giovanni, Fidelio, The Magic Flute, The Marriage of Figaro, The Merry Widow, On the Town, Thaïs, and West Side Story, the program travels from the opera house to Broadway in one dynamic evening.

All ensemble selections will be performed in English.
