Chamber Music Masterclass: Schumann Quartet

Experience chamber music in action as students from the Duke Chamber Music Program receive coaching from the internationally acclaimed Schumann Quartet.

Formed by three brothers named Schumann and violist Veit Hertenstein, the ensemble transformed a family pastime into a celebrated international career. Praised by the Süddeutsche Zeitung for its "fire and energy," staggering virtuosity, and "willingness to astonish," the Schumann Quartet is recognized as one of today's most compelling chamber ensembles.

Through live coaching, musical exploration, and close collaboration, this masterclass offers a rare opportunity to see Duke students refine their artistry alongside four extraordinary musicians.

This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome.
