Duke Improv Ensemble: Improvising Autumn

Join the Duke Improv Ensemble for an evening of music created entirely in the moment. With no scores, no predetermined program, and no safety net, the ensemble explores the possibilities of free improvisation through spontaneous musical conversation.

Autumnal, wild, meditative, joyful-and perhaps something entirely unexpected-Improvising Autumn invites performers and listeners alike into an experience shaped by discovery, responsiveness, and imagination. Every sound is made on the spot, and no two moments can ever be repeated.

Come experience where the music leads.

Free and open to the public. All are welcome.
