Teen Advisory Group @ Burnett

The Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is a collaborative leadership program where teens work alongside the library staff to co‑design ideas, shape teen initiatives, and help support a welcoming, creative environment for teens at the library. TAG members contribute their perspectives, brainstorm new program concepts, and participate in ongoing projects that strengthen the library’s teen community.

During monthly meetings, teens engage in guided discussions, share feedback, and assist with preparation for upcoming teen programs. While all events and activities are facilitated and led by the Youth Services Librarian, TAG members play an important role in shaping the direction and spirit of teen services. Participation in TAG may also qualify for community service credit or volunteer hours at school.

TAG offers a positive and engaging space where teens can connect with others, express their creativity, and help bring new ideas to life at the library.

Teens interested in joining TAG must complete a volunteer application form to get started, give us a call at 562-570-1041 and ask the Youth Services Libarian for more details.
