About this event
The City of Long Beach invites the community to celebrate the completion of the 51st Street Greenbelt Project: https://longbeach.gov/pw/projects/51st-street-greenbelt/, a transformative project that converted undeveloped land adjacent to the DeForest Wetlands and Los Angeles River Bike Path into a vibrant, welcoming and accessible green space for the North Long Beach community. Located in a park-deficient area, the completion of this project marks an important milestone in the City’s efforts towards achieving equitable access to outdoor recreation and green infrastructure.
