About this event
Join Onero Tufts for a conversation with Leland Lazarus, F16, about his book, Dragon in the Americas: China's Power, Presence, and Regional Influence.
The book explores China's growing role in Latin America and the Caribbean, from trade and infrastructure to technology and security, and what it means for the region and U.S.-China relations.
Lazarus is a former U.S. diplomat who served in China and the Caribbean and advised senior leadership at U.S. Southern Command. He is the founder of Lazarus Consulting and is president and chair of the Fulbright Association.
The conversation will be moderated by Chrystyan Oliveira, F28, followed by an audience Q&A.
A dinner reception will follow the talk. RSVP is required for dinner only.
