About this event
The Internet is ephemeral and content can easily disappear, but you can make a difference by preserving the things you care about. In this workshop, we'll look at several existing web archiving projects, you'll be introduced to simple browser-based tools (Wayback Machine: http://web.archive.org/ and Archive Webpage: https://webrecorder.net/archivewebpage/) and best practices to get you started archiving online content.
No prior experience is required. Bring your laptop for use during the workshop.
