Title: Sonic Studies Description: Sound is a powerful medium for sharing and communicating information. This event invites two faculty members, Riccardo Gianconni and Noel Heim, into conversation to briefly share how they each incorporate sound in their courses. Ranging from podcasts and field recordings to music and sound art, each guest's approach offers unique insight into the affordances of engaging with sound as a medium for learning and making sense of our world.

About the speakers Noel Heim: https://facultyprofiles.tufts.edu/noel-heim is an Associate Teaching Professor of Earth and Climate Sciences interested in reconstructing the history of Earth's marine biosphere, including ongoing Anthropogenic change.
