About this event
In this talk, Carlos Alvarado Quesada, who served as the 48th President of the Republic of Costa Rica, explores the evolving narratives of climate change and decarbonization, from their initial theory of change, focused on reducing emissions, toward a broader vision of social well-being, economic opportunity, and sustainable development.
Drawing on his experience in public leadership, he reflects on how people-centered climate policies can improve lives while fostering a more balanced relationship between humanity and nature.
